1970 Porsche 914

 

 

California is great.  I started poking around Craigslist to see what I could find for $500 cars for the next LeMons race car.  Nice rust free beaters were jumping off the pages at me, when I got an email from my friend Louis, who didn't know I've moved out here yet.  Louis was desperately searching for storage for his Alfa Spider, as he'd been accepted to an overseas graduate program.  A place to put the Porsche might be nice too, otherwise he was looking to sell it or throw it away.

 

I offered up some garage space, and told him he was welcome to leave the Porsche there too, but he might return to find it had been turned into a LeMons race car.  Without hesitation, he responded "That would be cool!".
