1972 GTV

 

Well, the after 10 years the ’71 was in pieces, I hadn’t driven my Spider in over 3 years, the Bora was in pieces (also 3 years), my GTV6 was crunched and not drivable, and I was seriously in need of something I could hop in, turn the key, and DRIVE!

 

I stumbled across this one in San Francisco, which meant (a) it had next to nothing for rust, and (b) I could enjoy it during my many trips out west.
