This is our son, Brian. He runs anchor leg for the semi professional running team, the "Mass Soles".
"Mass Soles" is two words, not one. Running shoes have 'soles', and the team is from Massachusetts, so they are the "Mass Soles". Ok?
There goes our son. His team is currently in 168th place, but they are relying on our son Brian to run a strong anchor leg and win the race for them!
There goes our son Brian! We noticed some other runner kind of *look* like they are running faster, and we thought we observed somebody passing him once or twice, but we're still pretty sure he's the most awesome and fast anchor runner in the world! Yay!
See? Now he's so far ahead of everybody else! And look at the way he's running up this hill! There aren't many mountains this close to the beach, but we're so proud of the way he's conquering this one!
Now our son Brian is saving the day for his team! They're so lucky to have him on their team! I'll bet they all admire his running prowess so much!
Now that he's so easily finished the most difficult and critical stage of the race, and saved the day for the rest of the team, our son Brian still has time to offer running tips and give advice to the rest of his team mates! That's our son Brian!!
Can you see the gleam in their eyes? It must be because they have the good fortune to be on the same running team as our son...
